The Language Centre will offer Introduction to Academic English only as multidisciplinary KKENYHT courses, allowing more choice and flexible modes of delivery (face-to-face, partly online, or fully online).

The aims are for students to:

• integrate into both their own discipline-specific field and the broader academic community
• prepare themselves for transdisciplinary work life
• develop transferable skills related to the conventions of academic discourse in English in a multidisciplinary setting

Note: Students should make a careful decision as to which mode of delivery (face-to-face, partly online, or fully online) they choose. Regardless of the mode, the average weekly workload is 8 hours. All groups work to strict deadlines and require interaction.
