After the course the student will
- understand anthropological, cultural and ethical underpinnings of concepts such as work, occupation, industry and economy in relation to (different forms of) education
- be aware about the changing meanings of work and education in cultural evolution and in constitution of human-nonhuman relations
- be able to engage in cross-cultural discussion about the future of work and work-related education

Optional course in Specialization in Adult and Vocational Education and in Multicultural Study Programme in Education.

Active participation in f-t-f sessions and in Moodle environment; Quality of argumentation; Quality of position paper

Selection of literature will be provided during the course.
