Learning outcomes

Once students have completed the course, they will be familiar with the basic concepts of stylistics, the Russian stylistics research tradition, and functional stylistics categorisation in particular. Students will also be able to identify different styles and genres and apply their knowledge and skills to various genres.

Contents

Lectures and exercises on the functional styles of modern Russian combined with text analysis.
