General description

Consists of STYÖA3A, STYÖA3B, STYÖA3C and STYÖA3D.

Learning outcomes

Students attain basic skills in practical social work, which include gaining insight into the role of a social worker, interview skills and the use of social work methods. Moreover, the students have the readiness to work in social work organisations.

Further information on prerequisites and recommendations

The participation of minor students is limited.

Teaching methods

Lectures, seminars, practical teaching and literature examinations on general examination days of the faculty of Social Sciences.
