The student deepens her or his knowledge on feminist epistemology and methodology. The student understands the essential women’s studies debates on the commitment to knowledge, the situatedness of knowledge and the meaning of experience.

Learning outcomes

The student can reflect the empirical research she or he has read against the wider debates on knowing and knows how to apply what she or he has learned into her or his own research.

Contents

Lecture series (14 hrs) organized every other year and lecture diary (5 credits), a study circle on the themes of the lecture series (14 hrs) (5 credits) and a literature exam (4 credits).
