Learning outcomes

Upon successful completion of the course unit, the student will be able to function as a translation expert in multilingual teams, translate texts in specialised subjects, and use technical translation tools, such as translation memory software. Moreover, the student will acquire versatile cooperation and communication skills, know the basic principles of translation projects, and be able to edit extensive bodies of text.

Contents

The course unit includes multilingual translation exercises that are completed in teams and that simulate authentic translation projects. The course unit also explores project management and translation memory software.
