Learning outcomes

Student

- understands the basic features of the education system and the importance of education as a part of society and culture,
- knows the current trends of societal changes and understands how the changes in the relations between the individual and society is affecting the individual´s position, education and the education institution.

Contents

The study module is engaging students in becoming acquainted with the fundamental questions and structures of education and its societal and cultural connections. The changes in the relations between the individual and the society are studied and the impact on education and the education institutions.
