The course provides basic abilities for creating static WWW pages and for using existing programmes which support dynamic WWW sites. The idea of using structured documents (markup languages) in WWW publishing and issues concerning information security in WWW environments are introduced.
Contents
Writing HTML code. No special page editors are used, but WWW pages are written directly using XHTML language. Using style sheets (CSS). Examples of simple JavaScript programs and their use in HTML documents. Examples of simple CGI programs in connection with HTML forms. Public and secret keys. Digital certificates. Structured documents (XML) and their use in producing WWW pages.
