The student - is aware of the challenges and opportunities brought by increasing cultural diversity in education and at work, - knows different theoretical perspectives concerning multicultural and intercultural education as well as culturally diverse work environments, - can compare different theoretical approaches and apply theoretical knowledge in practice.
Contents
During the course, the foundations, aims, and key concepts of multicultural and intercultural education will be explored. In addition, studies concerning multicultural study and work environments will be presented, discussed, and compared.
