Learning outcomes

After the course, the student can:
- use different phylogenetics algorithms and practical software applications in biological problems.
- create phylogenetic trees from multiple sequence alignments choosing a suitable method for the biological problem.
- interpret different kinds of phylogenetic trees and cladograms which are used most frequently in scientific publications.
