Learning outcomes

Upon successful completion of the course unit, the student will be able to apply the knowledge and skills acquired during their studies in their work. In addition, they will be able to describe and assess their strengths and areas that they want to improve. Furthermore, the student will be able to reflect on the nature of the professional capacities required in the field. They will be able to benefit from feedback and use it to assess their skills, as well as assess and reflect on their studies in relation to the requirements of the field.

Contents

In order for a period of work experience to be used to complete this course unit, the practical training has to support the acquisition of knowledge and experience in the student's studies and improve the student's employment opportunities in their chosen field of specialisation after graduation. The minimum length of work experience is three months.

Further information on prerequisites and recommendations

In order for the student to possess sufficient basic information in their field when beginning their work experience, it is recommended that the work experience should take place during the latter part of their Bachelor's studies at the earliest.
The same work experience period cannot be used to complete the Internship course units in both the student's degree programme and in the Common Core Studies.

Further information:
1. The student will complete a work experience period that corresponds to an internship of at least three months.
2. The period of work experience will be verified by a certificate (certificate of employment or other appropriate document) that will be shown to the teacher responsible for the course unit.
3. The student will write a work experience report in English, which will then be submitted to the teacher responsible for the course unit.

The intended work experience must be approved as appropriate for completing this course unit before the student begins the work experience period.
