Learning outcomes

After successful completion of the course, students will
- have a basic knowledge of Chinese language and culture
- be able to communicate orally in short ordinary situations; greetings, apologies, farewells, introductions
- be able to read simple texts with the help of the pinyin system and recognise some characters
- be able to write single characters

Contents

Pronunciation and grammar, listening comprehension for different sounds, conversations for daily communication and various supplementary language skills exercises.
