After the course, the student can:
- write non-trivial programs in the Python programming language.
- select and adapt a suitable data structure for efficient use in a particular problem.
- explain how common algorithms are used in bioinformatics work.
- adapt and implement simple bioinformatics algorithms in selected cases.
