Having completed the study unit, the student will have a good grasp of the recent research literature in the field of peace and conflict studies. They will have deepened their knowledge in some of the key questions of peace and war and know the latest and most important theoretical approaches in the field.
Contents
The themes of the study unit entail causes of war and conflict, security studies and securitisation theory in particular, conflict resolution, mediation and normative questions about peace and war.
