Learning outcomes

To provide students with personal experience of the language and culture of an English-speaking country.

Contents

A minimum of four weeks' residence in an English-speaking country or a country where English is an official language.

Modes of study

If the student does not participate in an educational/academic exchange, then a report on linguistic/cultural aspects of the country will be required. The report should be submitted to the Studies Adviser.

Evidence of residence abroad can be in the form of airline tickets, for example, or course certificates. These should be shown to the Studies Adviser.

Evaluation

Pass/fail.
