Student tutors act as peer supervisors for new students, helping them find their place as students and members of the student community. Tutors participate in the training for tutors, where they learn about the role of a tutor and the guidance provided for students. In addition to this, tutors will familiarise themselves with • the curriculum, teaching schedule and studies website of their own degree programme • other teaching offered by the university (including language studies).
Tutors take an active role in the systematic tutoring of students for the duration of at least one semester.
