Learning outcomes

After completing the course, students will be able to design and write documentation in English that meets required usability criteria as well as edit documentation in English. In addition, students are familiar with different types of writing principles such as minimalism and controlled language (e.g., Simplified English standard) and how they affect the writing process.

Contents

Writing and editing different document types, special characteristics of technical English and the challenges it poses to non-native authors.
