Tutkielman aihe on muotoiltu mielekkääksi kokonaisuudeksi ja lähdekirjallisuus on pääosin selvillä. Suunnitelma työn etenemisestä, tavoitteista ja aikataulusta on tehty ohjaajan kanssa (ohjaussuunnitelmalomake). Harjoitusaine on suoritettu hyväksytysti.
The thesis topic has been formed into a meaningful whole, and most of the source literature has been determined. A plan on the progress, objectives and schedule of the work has been drawn up with the supervisor (supervision plan form). An essay in the major subject has been completed and approved.
Tutkielma on edennyt suunnitelman mukaisesti ja tämä on todettu ohjauksen yhteydessä. Lähdekirjallisuus on selvillä ja käsikirjoituksesta on kirjoitettu noin puolet.

The originality of thesis will be checked before evaluation using the plagiarism detection system.
The supervisor approves the components (options 2 and 4 in Modes of study). The completion criteria for components can be specified or described in more detail, if necessary, based on the supervisor’s decision and the structure and the form of the thesis (supervision plan form). Evaluation and approval is decided in accordance with the regulations on degrees.
