Learning outcomes

The aim of the course is to broaden the student’s understanding of the importance of language and media in politics. After the course the students are capable to evaluate how media and political rhetoric construct our views on politics and social development. They are also able to apply the theories of political communication and rhetoric and to identify the political discourses and metaphors.
