Learning outcomes

The aim in content studies is for postgraduate students to become thoroughly familiar with their respective fields of science and research, the theories and methods and with the research tradition of the field and the scientific debate within it.

Contents

Content studies comprise postgraduate studies, studies at University of Tampere Doctoral School and possibly advanced studies or subsidiary studies in subjects which support the individual?s major subject and are agreed with the supervisor.

The Faculty of Management offers from one to four times during academic year an optional courses in varying themes (1 ? 5 credits). Detailed information (content, modes of study, material etc.) about the course/s in will be announced separately in the teaching programme of each academic year.

Teaching methods

You are able to complete the content studies for example in the form of written work, examinations, by participating in appropriate postgraduate training events or in researcher training abroad or by authoring scientific publications or conference presentations or by participating to offered courses or as agreed upon with the supervisor.
