The purpose of this course is to cover the issues of governance of ethnic diversity and multiculturalism in an enlarging European Union, focusing on Estonia and the other Baltic states.
Contents
Substance of the course is related to further political integration of the EU, focusing on the best practices of good governance and ways of creating a tolerant and inclusive Europe. The course includes the following themes: democratic multiculturalism as a form of governance; current EU approaches to the ethnic diversity issues; challenge of the EU enlargement and conflict management in the EU.
