The student - knows the main educational psychology theories relevant for teachers' and educators' work - gets a deeper understanding about the most important conceptions and current research related to teaching and learning in Finland and internationally - acquires skills in argumentation based on scientific theories of educational psychology
Contents
The student gets acquinted with the current research on educational psychology. Studying is partly independent work in which the student familiarizes her/him with the contents and frameworks of selected international research articles. Participants are required to attend class meetings, have a presentation, and write an individual essay.
