Upon successful completion of the course unit, the student will be able to independently edit texts originally written in Finnish, as well as those that have been translated into Finnish. The student will be able to identify text components that require editing, justify their solutions using the appropriate terminology, and provide the writer with professional feedback.
Contents
The first part of the course unit explores the tools and practices of editing and includes editing exercises based on the teacher's course materials. During the second phase of the course unit, the student will independently examine a broad range of Finnish texts based on actual commissions.
