Learning outcomes

Once students have completed the course, they will be able to present complex topics in clear and detailed language and express themselves in the appropriate register in both spoken and written Russian. In addition, they will have excellent proficiency in grammar, vocabulary and the structuring of texts. Students will be able to give a prepared speech in which they acknowledge and flexibly and dialogically interact with the audience. Students will also be familiar with the conventions of academic writing in their field and be able to edit their own texts.

Discussion on modern-day Russian topics based on material prepared by students combined with writing assignments.
