Learning outcomes

Upon successful completion of the course unit, the student will be able to analyse multimodal texts in a professional manner and assess the ways in which multimodality affects the translator's work in both literary and audiovisual translation.

Contents

The course unit explores various types of multimodal texts and their translation practices and discusses the impacts of image, word, and sound in different contexts of translation.
