Learning outcomes

Upon successful completion of the course unit, the student will be able to identify the different areas of literary translation and their specific features. The student will also be able to describe literary translation as a profession. Furthermore, the student will be familiar with the main research areas in literary translation and will be able to explain the connections between research and the actual translation process.

Contents

The course unit explores the various areas of literary translation, its practices, literary translation as a profession, and research in the field of literary translation.
