Having completed the study unit, the student will have a very good knowledge of the recent academic literature on European integration. They can independently analyse both the internal integration of the EU and the external relations of the EU by applying relevant theoretical research. In addition, the student has deepened their understanding of some of the specific dimensions of integration, such as security, economy or values, and is able to analyse them from different points of view.
Contents
Theories of European integration, regional integration in the EU and elsewhere, the EU's relations with other regions, integration of EU external relations, EU policies towards the Mediterranean, EU-Russia relations.
