The objective of the course is to deepen students' knowledge about strategic management accounting and control in different contexts with regard to advanced professional tasks of corporate management. Upon completion of the course, the student will understand the usefulness of accounting information in management control, and in developing, implementing and evaluating strategies. The course provides insights into how to provide relevant management accounting information for strategic decision making and control, how to apply theory to solve practical problems, and how to plan and do master's theses in this field.
