After completing the course students can explain the concept of cell technology in the field of tissue engineering. Student can define the most common cell and tissue culture methods and understand the reasons to use differentiation factors in tissue engineering. Student can outline the basics of bioreactor design. In addition they can describe the special requirements in cell manipulation techniques. Students know the most common cell and tissue culture and differentiation methods in tissue engineering.
Sisältö
Students learn to compare cell manipulation techniques. Cell manipulation (bioreactors, growth factors, nutrition, genetic manipulation), cell material-interactions (scaffold/ substrata, nutrition).
