After completing the course the student is able to analyze and evaluate health economic issues using concepts, theories and approaches of health economics.

The course covers the various perspectives on health economics, major theories, concepts and approaches.

Introductory lecture and reading club. Completing a learning diary and a literature exam or essay (by separate agreement).
In the reading club, students read the essential health economics literature and discuss it with other students and the teacher.
Evaluation
and evaluation criteria
Numeric 1-5.
Participation in the Reading Club: pass/fail.
Exam/Essay: evaluated on the scale 1-5 which will be the final course grade.
