After performing the course the student will be able to
- realize the methodological starting points for the educational study and central research methods, the stages of the scientific study process and the most typical research subjects of education
- search for research information and can estimate it critically
- identify ethical questions which will be included in different stages of the study process
- identify the grounds of scientific reading, writing and argumentation
In this course the student will study the grounds of the scientific operations and the fundamental questions of the methodology of education. This course also includes subjects that deals with starting points of research, framing of a question and research methods for the educational study. Ethics of the research, reporting and the critical evaluation of research results will be also dealt with.
