Learning outcomes

After completing the course student knows the factors affecting the demand and supply of labor and can analyze the functioning of labor markets in different market situations with various institutions.

Contents

Labor supply and demand and the equilibrium in the labor market. The effects of human capital, labor mobility, incentives and trade unions on the labor market equilibrium and unemployment.
