During the course the student learns the basic concepts and importance of risk management and insurance. The student will understand the special characteristics, revenue logic and legislative requirements of insurance business compared to other business activities. By the end of the course the student is able to recognize the differences and similarities between private and social insurance and assess insurance business in a global context.
