This intermediate level course focuses on the foundations of designing and implementing digital media services from the perspectives of information studies and interactive media. During the course, internet services are investigated as starting points to map and mirror various connected cultural and social phenomena with a major focus on the needs and requirements of the users of these services.
Learning outcomes
Discovering different types of current digital media services and evaluating through practical exercises their effectiveness as tools of information retrieval and organization, mediating experiences, supporting information entities, as well as collecting research data.
