The students become familiar with the programme: its structure, goals and study practices. In addition, they revise and familiarize themselves with the programme's central concepts (such as gender, sexuality, feminism, equality, and intersectionality) as well as with the research traditions in gender studies, especially in the context of the Global Society framework.
Contents
The students familiarize themselves with the practicalities of the programme: its structure and pedagogy.The course maps and discusses the points of departure of the students, teachers and the institutions involved in the programme. Furthermore, it consists of reading and independent work.
