To introduce students to the nature and research methods of linguistic meaning, especially to the meaning of Finnish words, sentences and expressions.

Contents

Basics of lexical and sentence-level semantics; introduction to research issues in semantics and pragmatics with the help Finnish-language examples and separate exercises.
