After the seminar, the student is able to: - perform systematic information retrieval on specific research topics - deliver scientific presentations and communicate scientific results to a broad audience - participate in scientific discussion
Contents
The seminars contain presentations by students followed by active scientific discussion by all participants. Each student delivers two presentations, first highlighting the plans for their Master's thesis work and then the results obtained. The topics covered include research methods, interpretation of results and forming scientific conclusions. The library organizes lectures and practical training on acquisition of scientific data.

Seminar
The seminars are organized throughout the academic year. Students may join the course at their convenience, preferably prior to the start of their own thesis work. Participation in a minimum of eight seminar sessions is required.
