Learning outcomes

Upon completion of the course students are able to

* critically discuss topical events and issues in Russian and European affairs

* formulate questions and construct arguments about developments in Russian and European affairs

* make connections between social scientific theories and actual events

* work in groups to plan and organise public events, panel discussions, etc.

* produce content about topical political events to the social media

Contents

Lectures by visitors representing the academia, public sector organisations, businesses, NGOs, etc. Students of the RES master’s programme play an active part in organising the course. Together with the responsible teacher, they plan and run the programme of the seminar, chair lectures and write reflective posts to the course blog.
