Learning outcomes
After completing the course unit, the student • will understand the importance of peer support in introduction to a new culture and society • will know how to describe the central features of Finnish university studies to a student familiar with a different learning culture and help them find their place within the university community • will know which courses their own school offers and will be able to describe them to international students • will be able to assess and consider intercultural differences in interaction, and will appreciate cultural diversity.
