Learning outcomes

After completing the course unit the student is able to understand the similarities and differences of European political systems and knows their basic principles. They have strong knowledge of the Nordic and Finnish political systems. The student is able to evaluate how Nordic democracies differ from other European democracies and how power is divided in the Finnish politics.
