To further students' knowledge of some area of translation studies that interests them and to support writing Master's thesis.
Contents
Visiting lectures of students' own choosing, studia generalia, public defences of a thesis, seminars or other events organised at the School of Modern Languages and Translation Studies or elsewhere at the university, of which students write learning journals. Six lectures are worth two ECTS. Alternatively students may also read literature related to translation studies and write a paper on a topic of their own choosing. The course can also be completed if students themselves have taught classes or delivered presentations related to translation studies. Different alternatives can be discussed with the administrative assistant of the subject.
