Peace and Conflict Research, 10–20 ECTS

Learning outcomes

Upon completion of the module, students will be able to recognise peace and conflict research approach in International Relations and evaluate the changed agenda of war, peace, conflict, conflict resolution and security from this perspective.

Content

The module consists of the following study units (5 ECTS each):

- POLKVA41 New Modes of Violence, Change in the Security Paradigm
- POLKVA42 Conflict Resolution
- POLKVA43 Peace, Security and International Institutions
- POLKVA44 Human Rights and International Society

Evaluation

Numeric 1-5.

Preceding studies: POLPOP01 Introduction to International Relations.
