Learning outcomes

Upon successful completion of the health science core studies, the student will be familiar with the contents and historical development of public and international health disciplines. He/she will know basic concepts, definitions and indicators used in public and international health and also is aware of the broad distribution of health and social well-being between and within countries. Finally, the student will have an understanding of the main quantitative and qualitative research methods used in public and international health and be familiar with evidence-based research and health programs at various levels.
