Learning outcomes

Upon successful completion of the core studies in public and global health the student will be familiar with the contents and historical development of public and global health disciplines. He/she will comprehend the basic concepts, definitions and indicators used in public and global health, global health policy agendas and obligations, and the distribution of health and social well-being between and within countries. Finally, the student will have an understanding of the main quantitative and qualitative research methods used in public and global health and be familiar with evidence-based research and health programs at various levels.
