POLKVA10 The Theory and Method of International Relations, 10 ECTS

Learning outcomes

Having completed the module, the student has a good grasp of the central theories and main schools of International Relations (IR) and their approaches/methods. The student is able to identify them from research literature and they can appraise and compare them critically. The student can apply these theories to political practices and research materials.

Content

The module consists of two course units: POLKVA11 (theory) (5 ECTS) and POLKVA12 (methodology) (5 ECTS). For information on the possibility of completing the module in English, please contact the teacher in charge.
