Basic studies provide students with an overview of the subfields of philosophy by means of the history of Western philosophy. They also give an introduction to logic and argumentation, as well as to the main concepts, trends and representatives of contemporary ontology, epistemology, philosophy of science, ethics, and social philosophy.
