General Studies, 9–12 ECTS

Learning outcomes

The purpose of the General Studies study module is to support and help the student begin and proceed in their studies. Upon successful completion of the study module, the student will have the following skills:
- The student will understand the requirements of studying at a university. They will be familiar with their degree programme and will be able to plan their studies independently and responsibly. They will also be able to utilise teaching and guidance services. They will understand the importance of their own efforts in advancing their studies.
- The student will possess the basic information retrieval skills required in university studies and will be able to utilise different information sources diversely and critically.
- The student will be familiar with and able to utilise the IT environment and services provided by the university. They will be able to use common software and develop their skills independently.
- The student will be adept at both written and oral communication in academic and professional contexts. They will also be able to develop their language and communication skills independently.
