Prerequisites

Before starting the proseminar, a student is required to have completed Basic Studies and all relevant courses at the Subject Studies level (i.e. all A2 courses before a literature proseminar, and all A3 courses before a language proseminar).

Further information

The proseminar is open only to Tampere University students majoring in English Philology, for whom it is obligatory. It is intended to be taken in the third year of studies. A number of proseminar groups in different subject areas will be announced towards the end of the spring term for the following academic year. Before the proseminar begins, students will be required to register with and consult the teacher towards the end of the preceding term.
