To facilitate progress of master's thesis work and to give students insight to other thesis projects and most common challenges in research projects. Active participation in seminars, presenting own master's thesis study project. Attendance is limited to Master's degree in Health Sciences (Public Health) students.
Internet -course. After the course the students will be familiar with the concepts of project work and project management,and they will be able to plan and write a (public health/nursing/health education etc.) project plan.
The course is available only for those students whose university is a member of TerveysNet network.

Lectures, essay and book exam (Cecil G. Helman:Culture,health and illness). Attendance is required for the lecture 8.9. 14-17.
The book exam is on general examination days in Autumn (Tampere School of Public Health).

Objectives The course familiarizes students with the main problems and

Videotaped lectures (2+2 ECTS), book exam (2+2 ECTS). The course consists of two separate lecture series and students may attend to either only one or both of them.

Studying and demonstrating command of obligatory and additional literature by exams. Obligatory literature, or part of it, can be performed together with obligatory literature, later as optional items or in the form of written essays. The themes and scope of essays are assigned by the teacher.
