Requirements

Active participation in the lectures and seminars, accepted assignments and exercise works with a written report and seminar presentation.
Completion parts must belong to the same implementation

Learning outcomes

After completing the course, you have learned the basics of special features related to the electronics in medical applications, especially biopotential measurement. You know what factors affect the design of biopotential measurement devices, such as electrode/tissue interface, noise issues, amplifiers, patient safety. You have gained experience in design, evaluation and construction of a biopotential amplifier.

Content

Content Core content Complementary knowledge Specialist knowledge
1. EMI/EMC in medical devices. Noise coupling and noise mechanisms. Noise rejection.
